  • Mix the butter and sugar together with your hand mixer until creamy and combined.
  • Stir in the eggs and vanilla and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder until just combined. The dough will be sticky.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Chill the dough at least for four hours, if not overnight.
  • Preheat your oven to 350℉ and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Remove from the fridge, wet your hands slightly and roll enough balls of cookie dough to fit on a baking sheet, put the rest of the dough back in the fridge. Roll the balls in powdered sugar twice.
  • Place rolled balls onto a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let cool for five minutes. Transfer cookies to a wire rack and repeat!
