Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon chai spice
  • 1 egg(s) large
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350F. Grease your donut pans with non-stick baking spray.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and chai spice.

  • In another bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, vegetable oil, maple syrup, and vanilla.

  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk just until no large lumps remain.
  • Divide the batter between the donut pans and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
